How to review changes before you publish
Open Content › Pages and click Review changes. Each change opens as Draft vs Live side by side; mark the ones you’re happy with as Ready, then publish all the ready changes in one go. The rest stay as drafts.
What counts as a change?
Anything saved since the last publish, whether you made it in the editor or an AI agent made it for you. Review changes lists each one:
| Change | How you see it |
|---|---|
| Page content | The page as Draft and as Live, side by side, with the edits highlighted. |
| Shared sections and menus | Each page that uses the section, so you see the change where visitors will. |
| Hidden changes | A page title, description, noindex or redirect, listed field by field because there’s nothing to see on the page. |
How do I review changes?
- Open the review tab. In your site, go to Content › Pages and click Review changes. It opens in a new browser tab, so the editor stays where it was.
- Compare Draft and Live. The draft sits beside the live page. Turn on Highlight changes and press J and K to jump between the edits on the page.
- Mark it ready. Click Ready when you’re happy, or leave it and come back later.
- Step to the next change. Press → for the next change and ← for the previous one.
Reviewing 70 changes? Do it over several sittings. Ready marks are saved with the site, so a reload, another tab or a teammate keeps them.
How do I publish only the ready changes?
Click Publish 12 ready (the number is how many you marked). Everything you marked ready goes live in one publish; anything you didn’t mark stays as a draft. After it’s live you can open the next change, undo, or view the live site.
If a change is edited again after you marked it ready, Dotsy takes it out of the publish and asks you to review it again, so you never publish something you didn’t see.
Can an AI agent review or publish changes?
Yes, if you let it. An agent connected to Dotsy can list the changes that still need a look, mark them ready and publish only the ready ones. Ask it in plain words:
Review the changes on harborpine.com, mark the menu pages ready and publish only those. Leave the blog posts for me.

Who can publish changes?
People with edit access can review and publish. For AI agents you choose in Settings › AI access: Drafts only lets an agent make changes while a person publishes them, which pairs well with Review changes.
How do I undo a change after publishing?
Click Undo right after publishing. Later on, open the page’s version history and restore the version you want.
FAQ
Do I have to review changes before they go live?
No. Review is optional. If your site publishes as soon as you save, changes go live straight away. Switch the site to publish only when you say so in Settings to review first.
What happens to changes I don’t mark ready?
They stay as drafts. Publishing the ready changes leaves the rest untouched, so you can review them later.
Can a teammate see what I marked ready?
Yes. Ready marks are saved with the site, so they survive a reload, another tab or a teammate picking up where you left off.
